Notice to Students

1. The Course, REDUCING RISK - WITHOUT SACRIFICING SERVICE, has been approved as an in-class elective course by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, which entitles students that satisfactorily complete the course to 4 elective credit hours of Real Estate Continuing Education.
2. The approved instructors that will teach the course will be one or more of the following:

  • James C. Murray, Attorney and Member SC Bar Association also GRI, CRS, CRB
  • Katharine M. Keaton, Attorney at Law and Member SC Bar Association

3. There will be no examination required or given and no grading of student’s performance. The standard of successful completion will be based solely on student’s attendance for the full duration of the program. The program is 4 full hours, including break time and will begin promptly at the time announced. There is no make-up policy. Therefore students arriving late can not receive course credit but are welcome to remain and audit the course. Similarly, students which leave before the program concludes can not be given course credit.
4. No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed in this class or on the school premises. Report promptly any effort to recruit by anyone to the class instructor or to the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
