Michael was born and raised in Charleston. With family in Georgetown and the Grand Strand, he has spent a lifetime on the coast of South Carolina. He graduated from the College of Charleston and worked in the law for years at some of the state's most prestigious firms prior to be accepted to law school at Barry University on a scholarship. He began his career as an attorney working for major insurance defense firms in Charleston and Columbia. Michael then opened his own practice where he focused on litigation matters in multiple areas of law in both state and federal court. In 2016, he refocused his efforts on real property transactions while continuing to litigate contested matters across the state. He relocated to the Myrtle Beach area, joining Murray Law to continue his work in real estate and to assist the firm's clients in probate and other litigation matters involving real property. As a partner with Murray Law, Michael advises his clients on all contested matters involving real property, probate matters, civil disputes, contract disputes, estate planning and family law matters.
